When this is allowed to affect our social behaviour and work practices significantly, it becomes unacceptable and inappropriate. With this training, you will gain an acute awareness of the origins of bias and how you can prevent its influence from affecting your environment or those around you.          

The contents of this course explain the concept of heuristics, the types of unconscious bias that can appear in the workplace, and how epistemology can help mitigate this behaviour. You will also learn how to use cognitive science in your approach to communication and be capable of performing individual and structural interventions to prevent conflict or misunderstanding. This learning experience will provide valuable insight into the cross-cultural working and social groupings.
